When the first sigh was heard, emotions were exhausted. The flurry of odd feeling invade bodies, murmuring secrets hearts do not tell.
What was it our eyes betray? What do our souls beseech? Upon hours of loneliness, the tapping of a foot becomes an audible sign.
Weary moments swing colours upon the plane of sight. Eagerness replaced by adaptation and then ending with precious moments becoming everyday humdrums.
Wanton beats course through, quavering hearts as they become woven into life. Words rustle slowly into a song.
Where air drips, a little fluff of curiosity glances about, twittering lost secrets of childhood lore. Our senses depraved, basking under artificial light.
We remain asleep.
